At Laura Ami the art of hairdressing we strive to give our customers only the best! That’s why we will only use professional haircare products and tools from trusted brands such as like Matrix, Milkshake, Turbo Tongs, GHD, Headjog wet brushes and Schwarzkopf to name a few.
We have a range of professional haircare to suit all hair types, where we will advise and prescribe for you the haircare range recommended to maintain and keep your hair in the best possible condition between salon visits.

Complaints Produce
If you should ever feel that you are not 100% satisfied with a service supplied by Laura Ami the Art of Hairdressing, please contact Laura Ami within 72 hours of the service taking place to advise of any concerns you may have. Laura Ami the Art of Hairdressing will rectify any issues promptly.
Laura Ami will not take responsibility for any issues cause by not following correct aftercare advice, incorrect maintenance from the use of non-professional products or changing of mind. (The life span of any colour, perm or keratin treatment cannot be guaranteed by using non-professional products.)
Changing to a lesser or smaller service at your appointment will not reduce the price of your service or appointment. It will remain at the original price upon booking.
All Retail & Electrical items are non-refundable.

Cancellation
Please note that once you have booked an appointment with us, it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. If you cancel your appointment less than 48 hours before your appointment, you will be subject to a charge of 50% of the total cost. Please provide a cancellation notice at least (48 hours) before your appointment to avoid the cancellation fee. Changing to a smaller service at appointment will still be charged at original appointment/ service cost.
Booking Policy
When booking an appointment with Laura Ami the art of Hairdressing, an advanced booking fee of 50% of the cost of service is required to secure your appointment.
This booking fee will be deducted from your service total bill when you attend your appointment. If you fail to attend or cancel your appointment without giving at least 48 hours’ notice you will sacrifice your booking fee.
Booking fees may be transferred to another date if arranged before the 48-hour cancellation period. Dates may only be rearranged once before the booking fee is lost. This salon policy ensures I can offer more reliable appointment availability and services to all my clients.
New client consultation appointments
A consultation appointment needs to be booked for all new clients before a colour service can take place.
This is where we can discuss your requirements and carry out any tests including an allergy alert test.
This is required 48 hours prior to the colour service appointment. The appointment is charged at £20 and will be deducted from your total bill on the day of your appointment.
Skin testing Policy
As a professional I will always put your safety first. Manufactures and insurances require all clients to perform an allergy alert test at least 48 hours in advance of any new colour service and then ask for a new test to be performed annually thereafter. *New clients - Please book your skin test with Laura Ami 48hrs prior to a new colour service.
